Invest in Families, Support our Community

Together, we've answered the calls from thousands of DC residents who deserve to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity and respect when challenges strike.

Last year, with your help, we served 585 families through our various wrap-around case management programs. Our Housing Stabilization program supported individuals like Gregor, who was working tirelessly to find affordable housing. Our Family Strengthening program served families like Tatesha's, whose two sons thrived with the educational supports that their mentor provided. And our Workforce Development team partners with individuals like Donnell who was searching for career that would bring him joy and economic stability.

This year, we have an ambitious goal: to provide support to 900 families and individuals. Every donation we receive will go to provide resources for our community throughout 2023 and beyond.

We want to take a moment to show just how big of an impact you all can make for the families we serve, right here and right now:

• $75 can provide outerwear for a child this winter (coat, hat, gloves)
• $150 can keep a family of 3 in our transitional shelter for one night
• $250 can provide OSHA-10 training and certification to 1 individual
• $500 can put 1 individual through an intensive entrepreneurship training program
• $1,000 covers the cost to provide a family with wrap-around case management services for 1 month
